Where can I buy tickets?
In Lucedale, you can get them at Changed Heart Creations Christian Bookstore, Century Bank Marketplace, and J&B Feeds. You can also buy them here online from one of the bands or directly from us at the BUY TICKETS link.
Where in the world is Lucedale, Mississippi? I need directions.
On your GPS, just punch in 507 Oak Street, Lucedale, MS.
* From Hattiesburg, take Hwy 98 east toward Florida. When in George County, turn south at the Chevron/Holiday Inn Express (which is Beaver Dam Road) and this will take you right to the park.
* From Mobile, Florida, and South Alabama, take hwy 98 West toward Hattiesburg and take the same exit as above.
* From South Louisiana and the Mississippi Gulf Coast, take I-10 East to Hwy 63 (exit 69). Go north on Hwy 63 until you reach Hwy 26 in George County. Take Hwy 26 east into downtown where you will turn right on Main Street. About a 1/4 mile, look for the water tower which is inside the park. Park on the south side of Main Street.
* From central Louisiana and west Mississippi, take Hwy 26 East toward Lucedale and follow the directions above.
Where is the best place to park when I get to Lucedale?
When you arrive in downtown Lucedale, look for the water tower. The water tower is located in the park. The best parking is to the south of Main Street. There are several churches, courthouse square, and open lots to the south of Main Street. This will be the best easy-in/easy-out parking spots.
Will the event sell out?
We only have a limited number of pre-sell tickets. If you don't get them before they run out, then you will have to pay full price at the gate.
When is the last day to buy pre-sell tickets?
As long as they are available, pre-sell tickets can be purchased up to October 9th. If you don't see the "Buy Tickets" link above then all pre-sell tickets have been sold.
What time should my family or group arrive at Praise in the Park?
The tickets and radio ad says "Gates Open at 3 and Music Starts at 4" but if 4 hours is not enough for you then come early and join the pre-concert festivities. Bring an empty stomach because there'll be plenty of food from local ministries and it'll be ready some time after 10AM. There will also be local artists performing in the downtown area starting at noon and ending at 3PM. So come out early, eat some good food, listen to some good Christian music, and enjoy beautiful downtown Lucedale.
How can I get a concert poster for my church or youth room?

What is the minimum age requirement for tickets?
Basically school aged children and older need to buy a ticket. So we have set the minimum age to buy a ticket at 5 years.
Can I bring an ice chest and snacks into the park?
Since we will have local ministries selling food for their ministries, we do not allow outside food or ice chests into the park.
Should I bring my tent and lawn chair?
In the past, we've encouraged groups to bring a tent but this year we're asking people not to bring them. With the large crowds, the tents block the view of people behind them. So go ahead and bring the lawn chair and blanket but leave the tent behind this year.
How do I reserve a vending booth? What is the cut-off date for booths? Can I sell merchandise only?

The Lord just keeps blessing us and blessing us. Today, we learned that Jonny Diaz will be traveling with MercyMe because of their upcoming tour. And we were asked if we could set aside a few minutes for him to perform (are you kiddin' me???). Check out one of the best new songs on Christian radio from Jonny Diaz: "More Beautiful You"
Sept 25th News
JB ROCKET to perform at Praise in the Park 2009!!!! We're excited to announce that JB Rocket will play a special 30 minute acoustic set to get Praise in the Park 2009 jump started. See the updated schedule below that shows them starting PTP2009 at 3:30 pm. JB Rocket was the runner-up on this year's "Can You Duet" on CMT. Check out JB Rocket at their website jbrocketmusic.com.
